Board and Batten is nothing new. But it is seriously popular right now. It went great with the wave of Modern Farmhouse style homes and it goes equally well with ultra modern, Rustic and even traditional homes.
It can be used as an accent with traditional Horizontal siding or it can be used as your primary siding. We used it as an accent on our home and it’s probably my favorite part of our exterior. If I could go back, I’d do the entire house in Board and Batten.

I’ve always liked the look at that house (17-2430). I guess I didn’t know that siding was board and batten, but it looks nice. I think you have just the right amount of that on your house. Your exterior is very appealing, IMO.
