Shared kids rooms

My kids both sleep in bed with me every. single. night…  I don’t sleep well.  Surprised?

I’m thinking of putting them in a room together because they absolutely refuse to sleep in their own rooms at night.  Will that solve the problem?  Probably not.  But it will be fun to design a shared space!

These are the two spaces I could work with.  I’m leaning towards the black room but not sure.  They both have been basically untouched since we moved in (when these photos were taken).

Check out my favorite shared kids spaces below.  Let’s hope my space turns out half as cute.  Enjoy!

  1. The second room shows that the beds don’t have to be exactly alike for the room to still look good. Being cozy is probably the most important factor. I’m sure whatever you come up with will be adorable!

  2. That’s a good idea Kristi. Maybe they’ll be happier out of your bed if they aren’t in a room all alone. Good luck.
