Cute house: Do this to it!

Every now and then I’ll be searching the MLS or showing properties and come across a home that I just really want to buy.  I want to update it, decorate it and move in.  Obviously I am not in the market to move as I have only been in my current home for about 9 months and sadly I don’t have the money or time to buy every house I like!

I haven’t actually been inside this house but I’d love to be the one to sell it!  Based on the MLS photos, I decided to whip up a little inspiration for you..  If you like what you see and feel my ideas, well then, let’s go take a look!  SO without further ado, here is my vision for this home.

PAINT IT BLACK!  Sorry for yelling, but wouldn’t it be cute with fresh black paint.  If you want to go all out- a black metal roof would be amazing.  Or at least black shingles and black metal awnings.  I’d probably go with black windows but as you can see below, white would look just fine.

I’d take a cue from this stunning home and split the front room into two spaces.

I’d keep the wood fireplace but extend it to the ceiling with a simple white surround and have stacked wood off to one side and wood shelving to the other side.

Now that the dining is in the front room, turn this kitchen into a large modern space with french doors to the back yard.

Remove carpet and put in some lovely cement tile risers.

Add some interest with vertical paneling or maybe even painted wood on the ceilings.

Just look how pretty that bathroom could be!

This patio could easily be transformed with removing the carpet and finding some comfy seating.
