I love wood ceilings! Whether they are kept natural, stained or painted white- they create such a lovely texture and warmth that you just don’t get with your standard sheet-rock ceiling.
We almost bought a home with the most amazing wood ceilings a few years back and have been kicking ourselves ever since. It was a must have for all homes we looked at after that.
Then we decided to build and of course it was off the table because a builder now a days would charge an arm and leg to install solid wood ceilings.
