Cute house: Do this to it!

Hello!

I had the chance to show this home over the weekend. It is adorable. You could totally move right in, but I want to show you what I’d do if I bought it.

The exterior is totally fine as is.. But that wouldn’t stop me from painting.

Either a deep saturated sage green.

Think this color.

Or a creamy white.

Add interest to the staircase with a new antelope printed runner and a few family photos.

The kitchen is huge.  There is a rather large eat in dining area.

Since there is adjoining dining room, make the kitchen huge!  Go all the way to the sliding door with the cabinets and add a large island.

With a small breakfast nook on the side by the sliding glass doors.

Do a round table and chairs in the dining room.  Add built ins on either side of the entry to the den (if there’s room).

Fresh paint, comfy seating and place to set your drink(or your book 😉 ).  Enough said.

The living room has really great windows.  Hang new curtains high and wide.  Since there is so much natural light, don’t be afraid to use color on the walls.

The built ins around the fireplace are great.  Style them out with all your favorite things.

This bedroom is huge.  And has gorgeous wood floors.  Keep it light bright and cozy.

This bathroom needs a narrow vanity.  Something like this offers plenty of storage and still saves on space on either side.

I feel like this house can handle some bold wallpaper and light fixtures.  Especially in the kids spaces.

How cool would a bold patterned tile be in this laundry room..

So what do you think?  What would you do differently?  And if you want to take a look at this house.. don’t hesitate to call me for a showing.

*Home is active on the market at the time of this post. If you read this at a later date, the home may be sold or off the market. Contact me to for more information or to find a similar home. All opinions are my own. And of course, there is nothing wrong with this house as it is.. I just got inspired to show what I would do.
