Well hello there! It’s been a busy couple of months and I haven’t had a chance to post. But I have a good one for you today!
My office toured this home a few weeks back and I was really feeling it. I actually took my family through thinking we might be ready for a move. Ultimately, we decided to stay put- my husband doesn’t share my love for old homes (although he did really like this one) and we are very happy in our current home. But I have so many great ideas for this home so buckle up!
I wouldn’t do a thing to the exterior. My husband and I both felt like we were going to visit Snow White when we walked up to the arched front door.

My youngest was a fan of the dining nook. Me too, kid. And check out the second nook for the stove.

Insert a beautiful round table and chairs. Oh and wouldn’t it be cool to wallpaper the dining nook? I think yes!

And for sure make that stove nook more official. Frame out a nice range hood like so…
There is also an old phone nook that my oldest was intrigued by. How many times can I say “nook” in this post??
I love the arched ceilings in the living room.
This room doesn’t really need anything except some pretty furnishings.

How cool would some bright vintage looking tile be in the bathroom?!

My favorite room (not pictured) was a creepy old unfinished attic space that could be made into a bonus kids playroom. Wall to ceiling wallpaper and crazy carpet are a must for that room.

PS there is an entire basement I didn’t touch on in this post. You will just have to schedule a showing with me to pick my brain. I would love to be one to sell this property!
*Home is active on the market at the time of this post. If you read this at a later date, the home may be sold or off the market. Contact me to for more information or to find a similar home. All opinions are my own. And of course, there is nothing wrong with this house as it is.. I just got inspired to show what I would do.
