Living room updates

Happy Friday!  Today I want to share a few updates we made to our Living Room over the Holidays.

I’ve been on the hunt for a piece of furniture to put below our TV for 10 months now.  We don’t have a lot of electronics in here so we don’t need a typical Entertainment Center.  And I didn’t want a lot of storage, i.e. places for my kids to stash all their PJ Mask or Spider Man toys (those can stay in the playroom!).  Oh and the piece needed to be at least 80 inches to not look puny between the two windows.

I had my eye on this piece but the price tag is a bit steep.  I came really close to buying a wood console from West Elm, but I was worried it would be too orange in person and it sold out while I was overthinking it.  Problem solved!

Then I came across this simple shelving unit and decided I could push two together.  Perfect!  And the price was right.

I finally have a place to display my vintage pottery collection.

I also got this cool Fluorite rock for Christmas to add to my collection.  My In-Laws know me all to well.

And here is a cute pic of Nova!  Because she can’t not be in every picture.
