Cute House: Do this to it!

Our market is slowly shifting.. Buyers are able to be a bit more picky and homes are sitting on the market slightly longer than they have in the past year. Check the latest stats here. If you have been waiting for the perfect time to buy, now is your window!

This gorgeous home has dropped over a $100,000 since it was listed back in May. I have been keeping an eye on it… and the recent price drop intrigued my family enough to go take a look. The home does not disappoint!! It is modern and bright! It would be wonderful for entertaining and has a great view of the river. It’s basically move in ready.. but this post wouldn’t be any fun if I didn’t share a few ideas for updating/styling the home.

Just picture this fabulous multi level deck all tricked out with a fire pit and multiple seating areas.

There is even has a basketball court… my kids are 100% sold!

I love how big the entry is. I would absolutely be on the hunt for a beautiful entry table.

Look at all the windows! And the huge wood fireplace is amazing! Montana winters would be so cozy in here.

The dining room is massive. Build or buy an extra large wooden table. You’d forever be hosting all holiday meals in this home.

The kitchen has really good bones. It has tall ceilings, granite counters and a Viking range that would be very fun to cook on. It is pretty perfect already but I would be tempted to sand down the cabinets to natural wood or stain them black. Add an oversized pendant over the island. Take down a few upper cabinets and do a pretty tile backsplash.

Some light styling will go a long way here. I’m pretty sure your friends and family will love hanging out at this banquette table.

Take out the extra closets in the bedroom (there are two closets in the hallway!) to make room for a king sized bed.

This basement bedroom would be the most beautiful office or studio space. I know I would love the peace and quite I would get from having my office away from my noisy kids!

If we bought this home, this would be the home theatre and gym area.
